I have a AIX 5.3 box with a SAN. I have 5 LUNS created. How can I mount them? Any advice is great. I'm an AIX newby

What do you mean, five LUNS created? Is this on ESS?
You need to assign the luns to the rs6000
run cfgmgr to find the luns as hdisks....
then create the vg's from the hdisk.
That's all considering you aren't serving up vscsi disks to a 5.3 LPAR from a VIO server (or two). That gets a little more complicated.
