AIX 5.2 Sendmail and the exchange server

I need to get my IBM set up so it can send e-mail to our outlook e-mail accounts. From what i've read so far I just need to edit the /etc/mail/sendmail.cf I've edited the sendmail.cf as follows.

DS:ex-frg1.companyname.com

in /etc/hosts I have

10.131.176.122 ex-frg1.companyname.com

When I try to send mail to my e-mail account root gets mail back saying that "null host signature for :ex-frg1.companyname.com"

Any help or insight would great appreciated!

Get rid of the colon

I did the same thing and its working here. I didn't have to edit the sendmail.cf any way!

all i had to do is to edit the /etc/hosts and put my exchange server address then i use this to send to it

mail -s "Daily Status eport" "khalid@exchange" < mailInfo.inf
