AIX 5.2 ML6: enhanced concurrent capable VG

Hi

I would like to use Heartbeat Over Disk for HACMP 5.2.

The first tape is to create an enhenced concurrent capable VG, but here is the message when I try to do so:

"This system does not support enhanced concurrent capable volume groups."

The fileset cluster.es.clvm.rte 5.2.0.0 is installed, ML6 as well.

All the pre-requisites seem to be fulfill.

What did I missed?

are you running 32-bit mode or 64-bit mode?

Only Enhanced Concurrent Capable volume groups are supported when running with a 64 bit kernel. Concurrent Capable volume groups are not supported when running with a 64 bit kernel.

I had the same issue just recently, as well as the 64bit kernel and the cluster.es.clvm.rte fileset you need the bos.clvm.enh fileset installed.

The fileset bos.clvm.enh is needed but not installed at the same time you install cluster.es.clvm.rte.
