AIX 5.1 sendmail and /etc/netsvc.conf

Experiencing a problem with a 30s delay when running mailq or sendmail -bp. Created the /etc/netsvc.conf with entries "local,bind4" thinking this may solve the problem, still no luck.

NSORDER environment variable comes up empty, but this is the same on our 4.3 systems.

DNS is OK, all settings similar to out 4.3 boxes.

OK, solved it myself. Our DNS server could not resolve the new host, added an A record for it and HUP'd the named daemon.
