AIX 4.3 RISC 250 and WINS.

How do I set up My RISC 250 to use a WINS server. I have a WINS server in place but want my AIX 4.3 system (RISC 250) to to send its NETBIOS info to the WINS. Any one know how? James Collins

You can't. AIX does not support WINS. Perhaps someone may correct me on this - and if I'm wrong, please do (and please also get me the information link so I can bookmark it).

Try installing and then looking at the docs of SAMBA. You can find it at BULL:
