I have a client who just bought a printer, a Canon iR5000 with a finisher that can hole punch. His Unix admin knows how to use PCL codes and currently is able to print from the printer. However extended printing features, such as the hole punching, use PJL codes, not PCL. He has never used PJL codes. I forwarded him the PJL codes I got from Canon, but he has no idea how to implement them. Here's where I need help. Can anyone give a rundown of how this needs to be setup? Please let me know if you need more info.

Much thanks.

PCL is the print formatting language. PJL is the command langauge to control the hardware.
All he needs to do is to send an escape code before the PJL code. It's in the manual ;)
