AIX 4.3 and Progress 8.3c

Hi all !
Does anybody know a way to connect to a Progress 8.3c (on AIX 4.3) database using ODBC or OLE DB ? DataDirect has no tools listed in compatibiliy matrix for this combination and the other ones are not stable anyway.
