hiyas..... i have a 9800SE modded to a pro with built in AIW TV tuner... and for the last few weeks i been using a little portable areil to get a picture ( a poor one at that)... but today i thought i would hook it into the main ariel on the roof.... so i spliced the main cable and ran a secnd cable to the PC.....
So i turn the PC on, turn the tuner on... and auto scan through the chanels... it picks them up no problem... but at the end of the auto scan when i tried to view the channels it sdays there locked !! with a parental password!!,,, well ive never usd 1 b4... never set a password and for the last few weeks while using the old portable areil ive never needed 1..... :0( so why all of a sudden it asks for 1? i dont know what to put in... but the weird thing is... if u unplug the main ariel.. and plug the portable 1 back in... i dont get asked for a password and i can watch telly again..... and if i leave it on channel and swap from the portable areil back to the main i get a perfect picture... untill i swap channels then it goes fuzzy and asks for a password again :0(... whats going on?? its driving me mad!!!!!!
