I have two 1310's configured as a point to point bridge to connect a building 1/2 mile away. This has been working for three weeks. This morning when I came in, the bridge on my building isn't working. It's getting power, but I can not ping it. The ethernet connection lights look normal. I tested the ethernet cable and it passed. I'm getting power. The antenna on the other end (building 1/2 mile away) is working fine. I tried to connect using Cisco's console cable that came with the unit. No problem in the past, but today, I can't even get a connection that way, much less telnet into the antenna. Hyperterm says I'm connected, but I get no response from any command. Any thoughts as to why I can't communicate with this antenna? No weather changes or anything like that. It just quit. I've reset it (cycled the power) three times. No luck.

Solved my own problem. There was water in one of the coax cables from rain. Guess that'll teach me to tape up those connections. Now, if only there was a way to eliminate lightning............................
