Hi Schtek, As far as I know you need compatible printers.
I've got an iPhone 3GS and have got a Kodak 5210 Printer. Kdak have released an app called Kodak Pic Flick which is fee in the appstore, which allows me to print to my Kodak printer and you can also use it to wirelessly send pictures to a compatible wifi enabled digital frame which is pretty cool!!
