Hi I need a person who is AIPS license with german or french speaker,
I need some help. Thank you.

I have had a lot of credentials from Avaya and I let them all conspire as it is way too expensive too keep them updated and there hardly any advantage havig them.
Said that I consider myself and all the other MVP's here as way above the highest Avaya IP Office credential.

Why do you need a good IP Office engineer speaking German, I thought all Germans can speak English nowadays? Ask Derfloh, he is a MVP and German.

French or German... Must be Suisse...

Be sure not all Germans speaks English. Most IPO techs in Germany started to work with telephony many years before where we didn't had to deal with global players. Siemens, Alcatel and Tenovis as well as Philips where the biggest. And all with German support and Germany docs and no IP that time.

So for many it was a hard step to learn the basics of IP (especially routing/subnetting and TCP/UDP ports). The harder step was (is) to come in contact with international guys. Regardless if in a public forum or with AVAYA support or just by doing a Google search with English questions to get more results.

I gotta say, being from Southeast Georgia here in the good ole USofA, reading these posts from you guys all over the world is cool as hell. How small our world has gotten over the last 15 years or so. Great being in the presence guys like ya'll. I've been an old tip and ringer since '79 and the stuff we are all doin these days is amazing...
Thanks again for all the help you guys give to us old farts who keep hanging on.

That would explain your handle SoGaIPO
Yes it is amazing and frightening at the same time (on it since '84) and comparing what the mechanics of a simple phone call were in the 80's to all electronics now.

corpus00 seems to be from California so the language request is surprising.

TBH I am a native German speaker but I have not had the technical language in 16 years as I only communicate with customers and here in English. I would not be able to explain some of the stuff without jumping onto English.

Holy crap, if you google AIPS license, that some heavy Sh*t. Why would you come to the IPO forum to look for that..?

SoGaIPO, I too have been doing this since the late 70's and I miss the tip and ring days. Good thing retirement is 12 months away

Don't do it mojoputter, as soon as you retire you don't have a spare moment any more. All retirees I know are busier than they ever were.
You also don't get vacation from retirement :)

To be honest I don't know what the initial cause for that thread was...
