Hi,
We have 2 Mitel MiVoice A-470 systems which we tried to network through AIN. The AIN along with expansion license has been applied on the Master system and we have configured the Master's IP on satellite system .We are facing an issue where we are not able to allot media resources (VoIP channels) on Satellite system. Due to this no calls are getting on both sides. I have provided the URL containing screenshots taken from both Master and Satellite systems for your reference.Since this is a first install for me so can you please provide guidance ?I have followed the technical document which i got from Mitel site but of no help.Did someone had practically experienced this issue and resolve it?

Thank you in Advance.

If you have established connection between Master-Satellite, fix the issue on picture 1...enable Standard media switch and configure Voice resource (you can use Auto config option on the top)...
Re documentation...document syd-0560_en.pdf...my first AIN (few years back) was setup with only using info from that document...Take closer look on Regions settings, Bandwidth areas, WAN link...(where you actually defining number of max. calls between nodes, codec used etc.)...

Dear Zoran(Zoo),
Thank you so much for replying as always. We have set up AIN Master -Satellite and have defined all the settings in Master as well as Satellite as per the technical manual(i have enclosed this manual for reference).Calls are through between both systems now.As per manual, the Satellite reboots once it has lost the network connectivity with the Master and when the network is back then the Satellite reboots once again. Now here is the actual glitch. After the link is up with the Master and Satellite reboots a second time, i found that all the analog extensions in Satellite gets a different continuous dial tone instead of the regular one and they wont dial any number be it internal or external. Here i also found that the digital phone (we have only one 5361 connected to the satellite system) gets a proper dial tone and is able to call internal numbers .However,Calls to extensions in Master still fails from the digital phone.Which means that even though the Satellite is communicating with Master but no calls are possible between the two. This issue gets resolved if i reboot the Satellite manually. There is no mention of this anywhere in the manual. Can you please help?

Thank you in advance.

When satellite establish connection it will receive all settings from Master...which means that there is something not right with applied Satellite settings. Check applied Region settings and Bandwidth areas on Master for that Satellite - there you will define codec and available bandwidth between sites - this is how system will decide how many calls can be between systems (which should be supported with Voice channels if necessary)...Otherwise, maybe you have to raise Ticket with Mitel for further investigation...
