I have bought a second hand voicemail to learn on and want to do a clean install on it but I don't want to screw things up and find I need licensing or other files replacing that I can't get. Can anyone advise the best way to go with this?

As far as I am aware, any of the CUE modules whether AIM or NM based include the licensing already.

Yes but if I reinstall it as a clean install will I lose the license file and need to reinstall it on the new, clean, install? If so, can I save the existing license file and use that?

This may all be moot anyway as I'm beginning to suspect that I've bought one that has the software for CUCM and I'm trying to use it with CUE. The question from a learning point will then be, which would be easier and cheaper, converting the aim module or setting up CUCM (I think I can get my hands on a HP server and a copy of CUCM 5.1.1). I'm not yet sure how to check the software version for this matter, too new to the technology
