Hello,

We are installing AIC 7.1 with Definity G3si, and I have a doubt.
Our provider has told us that when asai routing link is executed in a vector A is impossible the control was returned to this vector, and it is needed add a new vector (B) to queue the calls

Anybody knows if it's possible use only a vector?

And another question....pleaseee

Is it necessary install Bussiness Advocate to have multiskill email? They has told us an agent can only recive emails from an email account, due to he only can be in a workgroup. And the solution is Bussiness Advocate.

Thanks a lot

AIC is a new world.....

pozomarta,

adjunct-route step in a vector is used to enquiry cti application (on the other side of cti link) for a number to route call to. after adjunct-route step is completed successfully, system would route call to the number received, usually that would be another vdn with some other vector for further call processing. however if adjunct-route step fails for some reason, the current vector (i.e. the one containing adjunct-route step) would continue to next step.
in short, your vendor is quite right: if adjunct-route step is successful, it routes a call to received number nevertheless and there is no control over this step action. if that step fails, there is control but that's only means of fail-safe routing.

regarding second question: that's completely false. in aic, you can create as many e-mail queues as you need and attach them to agents. no need for business advocate at that. do mind that b.a. is very powerful tool but not a magic pill to cure anything.
