Hello,

I purchased an Aloha server and 4 terminals from a local restaurant that went out of business. I have everything up and running but I was hoping to dump all their users/menus/items/etc. Is there a way to reset/clear that info out or do I need to do it manually?

Thanks

Couple ways to do it, just depends on the version of Aloha you have.

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response. It appears the devices are on 6.7 currently.

Thanks!

If you have the old aloha interface, (the blue Icon)
then it is simple.
first close Aloha manager
From windows explorer, navigate to the aloha\newdata folder
delete the following files and all menus, items, modifiers, submenus, catagories, panels and buttons
itm.dbf
mod.dbf
sub.dbf
mnu.dbf
btn.dbf
pnl.dbf
scr.dbf
cat.dbf
cit.dbf
When you restart Aloha Manger all files we be recreated and you know can start from scratch

New aloha mangager is a bit more complicated (orange Icon)
You have to delete in this order
1. Menus
2. Submenus
3. remove all assigned modifiers from all items
4. del all modifiers
5. Del all panels and screens in screen designer
6. Delete all sales and non sales categories
7. Del all items
