I own a motherboard whichs supports AGP1 graphics card.
IF I buy a AGP4X card, will it be able to work on my motherboard?

Keep in mind, all AGP Cards (Well least 99.9% of them) will support any lower versions

if you have an AGP1X Slot, you can support any AGP Cards, but only at AGP1X speeds(which really slow in my opinion as my board supports AGP4X)

so for example I have a Elsa Erazor X2 Geforce DDR, which is 1X,2X,4X compatible, it'll run on boards with support for any of those three, so basically an agp card will work in any AGP slot, you just have to live with the possibilty that it wont be as fast as you desired if your mobo cant support higher speeds. Don't forget to check your mobo's webpage for a bios flash for possible support for faster AGP.

Peace.
