Should I have AGP 4 enabled in my Award BIOS? It's a Xtasy 6594 GeForce 3 AGP 2 card with 64 meg of DDR RAM. Should I shadow the video RAM?

Yes definatly allow for AGP 4X mode. And yes shadow the Video RAM. AGP4X will be MUCH better and shadowing the RAM in some system can increase performance a bit. (may not be noticable) James Collins

Thanks, James. What I don't understand is that with my GeForce 2 and 3 I'm taking a big performance hit in Win XP. I'm getting 156 MP/S under Win 98 and 83 MP/S in XP. I've tried all of the drivers available including the nvidia reference drivers so I'm looking at the BIOS settings. Any suggestions? I'm also dealing with the heat problem with a PC Cooler. Just a fan in the back has helped.
