AGP 2.0 graphics card on agp1.0 mobo ??

Hi!

Is there any chance to get my graphics card (Creative 3d blaster 2 mx ddr, needs AGP 2.0) running on my pc (mobo Chaintech ct6bta2, has AGP 1.0)?
The card is running perfect on a friends PC, but on my it causes Windows to hang while booting.

Thanks in advance for any hints!
