In the always exciting world of POS integrations, I may shortly be faced with having to drop Accubar, and am researching option of replacing with Agilysys Eatec at 2 different properties owned by the same group, each with differing POS (Agilysys InfoGenesis and NCR Aloha). Accubar has proven unreliable with perpetual inventory reports generated by nightly uploads from both systems.
Of course longer term, we want to standardize to same InfoGenesis POS across both, but initially, we might need to take the path of least resistance and downtime and switch just the inventory solution.
1. Has Anyone got any general feedback on Infogenesis with Eatec? Obviously, these are the same Agilysys vendor, but two separate products. Specifically, have you found perpetual inventory reporting to be accurate?
2. Has anyone got any general feedback on NCR Aloha with Eatec? I can't find any actual experiences of integration on the web. Specifically, will it even work? Have you found perpetual inventory reporting to be accurate?
