Aggregate navigators & aggregate tables

Has anyone tried using aggregate navigators on their data warehouses?

Can you give me a rough figure on how many aggregate tables have you got in your data warehouses?

I have over 50 aggregates in one of my warehouse implementation. It realy depends on the reporting needs and also resources (disk space, load window etc.)

can any one be able to assist me in providing some basic info about the ETL tools.

does the ETL tools use the standard SQL commands to extarct , transform and load the data into the warehouse or does this ETL language differ from vendor to vendor ?

I would greatly appreciate anybody who can provide me with this info as i had been BURNING my head with this Q .
