Is there any way of telling MSO2007 to show HTML emails correctly, including not removing or commenting out style/css code.

Even emails that work fine in MSO2003 when forwarded internally get corrupted by MSO2007.

Is there nothing we can change in the settings, switch off or switch on or something to make MSO2007 compatible with MSO2003?

This is very frustrating!

Cheers,

Have a look under Tools ->Options on the Mail Format tab under HTML Format and see if checking or unchecking any of those options help.

Hope this helps.

Nope, infact the email isn't even being delivered.

I've got our email service provider looking into it, but I think it is clear.

I'm screwed, the nice X/HTML 1.0 strict form I have created for filling in is now a waste of time and junk to send as an email.

I'm going to have to design the same form again using old style tables and other crappy methods to make it display in MSO2007.

I don't believe MS they finally bring out a standards compliant (well pretty damn near), internet browser (IE8).

At the same time they bring out an email client that understands less compliant html code than IE4 ever did let alone 5 or 6.

OK, so they think this is a security feature, but this is in-house at least give me the option!

Oh well another day wasted no doubt.

In the end I just redesigned the entire template to use bad bad bad coding and tables and it works fine... typical MS circa 98 stylie!

Well, the main issue now is why one of the bosses with MSO2007 isn't actaully seeing the email in his outlook, yet if you log into OWA it is there?

Never rains eh!
