Hi, first post to this forum.
I run an Accuset 800plus with Viper 1.9.2
Getting a strange problem recently, when I send files from OS x / Quark 6.5 the resolution is coming up as 600 when normally it is 2400. The VIPER is being fed by two different Macs, both using their own version of the PPD - ours is called AGFA AccuSet 800-X-8_4.PPD
These PPD's have previously printed to the Accuset with no problems.
Running the same job in OS 9.2 Classic through Quark 5 results in the correct resolution. I have checked that the default resolution in the PPD files hasn't been tampered with - and all appears normal.
My question is, does anyone know of any other file - either on the work machines or on the RIP itself - which may have become corrupted or of anything like this happening in the past?
I can't get a hold of the company who installed the machines (before my time here) and AGFA don't seem to offer any support whatsoever.
Any thoughts, tips or help greatly appreciated.
