Hi,

I have a little problem with an agent which move mails to different folders depending of sender.

Any specifications about this.

I have R5.0.11 server & client.

Rgds.

What problem exactly?
Why not create a rule to achieve this? Moving documents to folders dependant on sender is one of the most common and basic rules and can be created with just a few clicks.

Regards,
Tony.

The problem is simply that doesn't move any message to selected folders.
But if I do manually then works fine.

Rgds.

A couple of common errors for you to check:-
[ul][li]Double check all your spelling and typing (including spaces).[/li]
[li]Ensure the rule is enabled.[/li]
[li]Try making the condition Contains rather than Is.[/li]
[li]Make sure that the sender in your condition is not a shared database and mails are being sent by someone else with access to that database.[/li]

Regards,
Tony.

Normally the sender are outside from our domain.

Thanks,
I'll check this.

One question more,

In the agent document, What I need to select?
When should be execute and What document I need to select into db?

Then, the condition is easy.

Thanks.

I strongly reccommend that you create a rule for this rather than an agent. With a rule you don't need to worry about when and where it runs as it just acts as a filter and is effective immediately. An agent is far too complex for your requirements as well as taking up system resources.

Regards,
Tony.

and , where can I make the rules?

You should have a Rules folder as standard on your Notes template (Between views Discussion Threads and Stationary). Open it up, click New Rule and away you go.
If you can't see the folder, then I suspect you have a modified version of the template and it has been removed (Although I can't imagine why).

Regards,
Tony.
