Hello everyone, can someone explain in detail how i can reset the password and username of the agent login-id in our avaya cm6. also, can someone explain how the agent login-id users login on their phones

In CM, the command is Change Agent [AgentID]. You can then change the name and password.
If you have System Manager, look under Elements / Communication Manager / Call Center / Agents.

Assuming all your buttons are programmed correctly, on H.323 and Digital sets the typical Agent phone has the following buttons.
Agent Login
Agent Logout
either Manual-In (OR) Auto-In
AUX Works

Note: The buttons may be labeled differently ("Ready" for Auto-In, for example).

To Login,
Press the Agent Login Button. You should hear dial tone.
Dial the Agent ID and press #.
If you have a password, dial the password and press #

If all is correct, you should hear three confirmation "beeps". The Light for Aux Works should become green to indicate the Agent status.
Press the Manual-In or Auto-In to be available to take calls.

SIP phones are slightly different, where you will have:
Agent Login
either Manual-In (OR) Auto-In
AUX Works

Press the Agent Login button. The screen prompts you for your Agent ID and Password. Use the arrow keys and the Enter softkey.
The Agent Login becomes Agent Logout, and the light for AUX Works lights green to indicate the status.

Programming buttons can be a bit tricky. I suggest you look at a working Agent phone to copy the button layout and programming.

I hope that helps.
