I have setup EPO and have imported the computers from AD.
I have customized the policy of the agent and then "Sent agent install" to Workstations.... However there not all installing the Agent, only about half have installed it.

I have tired to manually install the agent from the workstation of off the server but get an error..
(somthing like 0x0000022)

Iam using the administrators account to install the package

does anyone have any ideas..??? need more info please ask..
i have looked at these site and have found something about editing the registry.. but iam not sure. !

Why can't i install the agent?

Check services on the clients that aren't installing. Make sure both remote procedure call and remote registry services are enabled and running.

cheers..
i'll check them both..

thank you.

How do you enable the Remote registry services on XP? or check to see what the settings are?

thanks

On XP - Go to control panel then select administrative tools. Select the services ICON, should be about the last on the list. You can double click on the service and when the window opens set it up to start automatically and then start the service.

This is for XP Pro - XP Home doesn't have these services and has to be treated differently.
