I'm trying to install the Zfdagent on NT 4.0 machines and I'm running into a issue. I made a MSI for the agent and when I try to install it as user I get a message "Problem: install failed. could be due to insufficient disk space"
If I login in as admin the app deploys fine. Any ideas ??

PC's are NT 4.0 SP6, IE 6.0 SP1 installed Zfdagent.msi is dated 9/20/03 there are no disk varibles in the app and I've tried to run it as an unsecure user and it did the samething.

Is your local user setup as an Administrator of the workstation or just a normal user? I've run into some really weird stuff if your user is not at least a Power User of the local workstation. Found a couple of docs on either Novell's support site or the Cool Solutions section that recommend at least being a Power User.

The user account is just a normal user account. Is there anyway around assigning additional rights?

I've never tried anything else...so hopefully someone else has a better suggestion.

Thanks for your help I got if figured out there are two registry keys that need to be on the system HKLM\Software\Policies\Windows\Installer\AlwaysInstallElaveted =1
and the same for HKCU
