Agent code?????

Hi...

The merlin magix system has been doing the following for the last six months

receptionist cannot listen to voicemails because once she gets into mailbox and goes to press 0 to listen to message the system asks for a 4 digit agent code.

This problem shows up at other extensions within a month

The merlin messaging itself has been factory defaulted, replaced, I have deleted mailbox / re created it numerous times

Help Please .... Thanx,

 
Sometimes voice mails will record portions of their own messages, totally confusing you when you retreive messages.

Try simply dialing *3 (delete) and see if it will move on to the next message.

Could be a lack of "open loop disconnect" from your telco provider, causing hang ups to not disconnect and the voice mail to record until it times out or there is adequate amount of silence.
