This statement works

"Select Bestanden.Bestandsnummer, & _
Bestanden.Bestandsnaam, Bestanden.Soort, & _
Bestanden.Omschrijving, Bestanden.Auteurs, & _
Bestanden.[Datum Archivering] from Bestanden & _
where Bestanden.Auteurs = '" & txtZoek.Text & "'"

How can we use "like" with wildcards in this statement?

We thought it was like this:
LIKE '*" & txtZoek.Text & "*'"

But it doesn't work...

Try % instead of *

% is the standard SQL vildcard character.

Good Luck!
