I'm looking for a simple script to carry out the following
I want to search all the workstations within a domain and find what version of ELO drivers it has install

Then check the System event log of an event number i.e 6003

What have you tried so far and where in your code are you stuck ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

It's all new to me, I have nothing
I have used simple VB scripts in the past but no longer have a copy

So, you want someone here write the script for you ?

Or put me in the right direction
I've never done a domain one
I have several domains or checking drivers for ELO

Instead of trying to simply write the code, know what you want to write and then ask. What steps would you take to execute your goal on a single workstation? Generalize them to outline your goal (Break the problem down into a few chunks). Then you can ask questions regarding each step. The more specific the question, the more likely you are to be helped, specifically.

Here's a starting direction.

1. Identify computers
2. Connect to them
3. Read ELO driver
4. Reply and log
