After Rendering Clip, Video is Gone

one problem i've also been having lately takes place in the editing part of my video. when I render a clip, the rendering will go fine, but when i play the rendered clip in the timeline, it is missing it's video. any suggestions?

so in monitor window, is it showing a missing file warning or just black. save ur project and try to reopen it. try with print to video

it shows just black, but before i render it shows a small red "X".
