Hi, we have a hybrid setup, exchange on prem and O365. I renamed a shared mailbox (and alias) at the request of a user and now the shared mailbox no longer appears for her in Outlook 2016. This is doing my head in. It works for all other users, it works for her account via OWA and via her account on Outlook 365 App (on my laptop) but not on Outlook 2016 (and it used to and she still has other shared mailboxes showing up no problem).

I have removed her permissions on O365 (this is where we normally edit permissions) and wiped her Outlook profile and started from scratch. I also tried adding the shared mailbox manually for her but it crashes Outlook, when you open up again it shows the mailbox but it crashes when you try and click on it. What the heck is going on, any ideas?

I can't change the version of Outlook for her because we use a virtual environment.

Many thanks
