Migration from IP500 to Server Edition, all PLDS process has been completed and licenses loaded, but Manager declares the PRI 88 channels (4x ISDN PRIs) as obsolete, have you ever seen?

R10 SP2
Feature type="counted">
<Name>VALUE_IPO_UPRI_CHANNELS_M</Name>
<DisplayName>IP500 Universal PRI Incremental channels</DisplayName>
<Value>88</Value>
</Feature>
</License>

Could be when you only have the server edition. Pri licenses should go on an ip500.
So do you have it as a gateway and do you have a server edition license for it too?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes tlpeter it's a SE. All SE licenses are present (included the gtwy) and as per Avaya R10 Specs all licenses (including the PRI ones) are loaded on the Main Server.
In the pre-R10 SE systems the PRI chans licenses have to be loaded locally on the IP500 (with its SD card system id), viceversa on R10 all licenses are centralized with one host-id only and that's what we have done.

You did not answer my question :)
Do you have multiple SE licenses and one for an IP500v2?
If yes then you need to assign the host to the WebLM server of the server edition.
Only then you can host it centralized.

Originally (before license migration) yes, they had a license file for SE and another one for IP500v2 with IP endpoints and PRI chans. Now, after R10 license migration, all licenses, including the ones related to PRI channels, are in a single file xml file which has been loaded on the Primary server.

Are your ISDN Circuits working (with all channels enabled)?

if not then you need to go back to your distributor/Avaya & get them to resolve the issue as a priority.

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

The system is working in a LAB before implementing on site, no way to test if more than 8 free chans are opened

Rubbish
System status should warn about Unlicensed channels & with more than 1 fully loaded ISDN circuit even if you don't have an ISDN tester in your lab it should be easy to test.

The PRI licenses need to be local to the IP500V2 chassis you will need to rehost them to the IP500V2 SD card.

Teletechman, not if you use the webLM server on the SE.

No I had the local server as the license server. Was told webLM is having issues with R10.

I used it on a 10.0.1 system which is upgraded 10.0.2 without issues.
Just do it as it is so much easier with license dstribution.

SR raised to support, problem solved, the final statement it's a bug but there is the following workaround: Copy the "WebLM Node ID" info and paste it on the "WebLM Client ID"
Still present on R10 SP3.

Thank you
