We had a power outage and now we have no music on hold with our Definity system. I checked the source and it is working fine. I tested music on hold with an internal call and an external call and I dont hear anything. Any ideas of what to check?

Thanks

or find out what port it is on in the PBX and maybe just reset the board prior to rebooting the system

If there is a coupler device, it may not have rebooted. If you have a butt set, see if you have music going into the port on the PBX. The music port can be defined in either 'display systems features' or 'display music'.

Stupid question, but how would I do a reboot?

reset system 1 will do a warm reboot, it will just stop some services. You may get booted out of the system and have to log back in. There are different levels.

I always forget to check that the volume is turned up?

I know it might sound stupid But after a power failure sometimes the player volume is 0
