I installed a load of Win2K Hotfixes and now when I try to access a SQL 7 DB it comes up with

"The setup routines for the SQL Server ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126"

It was perfectly alright before.

Has anyone had this & fixed it before ????

Help !!!

Either the sql server dll got deleted/moved or the registry entry for it got corrupted or removed. Look for this file: SQLSRV32.dll. Usually it's in the ...\system32 folder. If it's there, check the registry for the file and make sure the location is correct. Check for this key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\SQL Server

It's also possible the path information was removed from the environment settings.
