does anyone know the bext manner in which to export fcp (2) quicktime movies in order to prep for after effects (5.0)? should i export with no compressor in fcp or should i use the dv ntsc codec using standard mini-dv transfer rate. i have experimented with the dv codec and noticed that there is a minor degredation of the footage. naturally, being that there is very little data to start with (in the dv codec), i need to keep as much as possible. i am currently exporting out of fcp (2) uncompressed into after effects, applying effects, (barring, magic bullet, etc.) and then exporting with the dv ntsc codec. however, is there any interpolation occurring with the uncompressed footage?
any advise would truly be appreciated.
