After effects and Final Cut

what would be the best way to work on a video in after effects and then open it up in final cut without loosing any quality or downloading any plugins. and what would be the best way to open up a file in after effects after editing it in final cut.

You'll need the third party plugin called : AUTOMATIC DUCK.

It creates an XML file from your FCP project and allows you to import it (lossless) into After Effects.

From there you can export a movie or just effects for use within FCP.
