I'm new to this forum... I'm about buying a completely new PC and After Effects 7.0. I wanted to get the new GeForce 7900GT 256Mb PCIe since the quadroFX series are too expensive for me. Now I was wondering why on the "supported OpenGL cards"-page for AE7 there's the 7800 but no 7900? Is this card really not supported or is it only too new and the site's not updated yet? Anybody got already experiences with this card?
The reason why I'd prefer the 7900 is that the price is almost the same and the 7900 already fully supports Windows Vista...
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Also some other hardware recomnendations would be helpful!
Is ECC RAM worth it? (I'll get 2 GB)
Is a dual core worth it?
Intel or AMD? (On the "system requirements"-page it only says "Pentium 4")
I heard about issues with AE7 and Creative sound cards... Is that true?
