I am Installing a IP Office V2 release 7.0.27 that the customer has had in storage for a over a year all phones are 9620L after connecting all phones they perform downloads that changes the craft menu eliminating some of the menu options such as 802.1x among others.
the phones then go into a loop trying to update some files once it reaches the ha96XXUA3_186AS.BIN I GET A -905 and then the display shows restarting instead of (contacting call server) and commences the loop again.
i brought in a new phones and interupted upon the initial DHCP server by pressing * before it performed any updates then proceed to enter manually the call server IP and the phone came up normally.
How do i default the phones back to the initial craft menu so i can interupt the process or do i need to make changes to the bin file and if so what changes?
