Hi all,
I've defined a node in my tsm server (Server Version 5, Release 4, Level 1.0). I've defined the entry in client's dsm.sys also (I've a physical client with 3 virtual nodes defined). I've no problem with 2 virtual node, but I've problem with newest entry: when a schedule starts in tsm server, this keep pending status. I've no problem if I start an archive from node (the archive process is completed successfully).
How can I make troubleshooting?
NOTE: 1) no particular entry in server's activelog; 2) no error messagge in dsmched/dsmerror;

Thanks
Best Regard

Hi... Manual backup works for this 3rd virtual? Also, did you compare the dsm.sys/opt file to the ones that are working?

solved: it's a PEBKAC
I needed only to start another dsmcad with another optionfile:

root 594092 1 0 11:44:15 - 0:00 /usr/bin/dsmcad
root 1343558 1 0 10:42:18 - 0:00 /usr/bin/dsmcad -optfile=/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsm_nodb.opt

Thanks to everybody
