I have an HP LaserJet 1100 printer that I've shared via a desktop PC I had on my network. Now I'm wanting to take that PC out of the picture and I'm wanting the most affordable solution. Since this model printer has a non-standard centronics interface (I think it's called a centronics c-connector ??) I can't find a generic print server that will work with it. I believe I can use a HP JetDirect 170X but that costs $140 from HP - if I go that route I'll just buy a new networkable printer. Does anybody know a good option here?
