I am looking for external rackmount RAID box
with IDE interface to discks and SCSI to host.
It must has the folowing options:
1) External(host) interface : dual-host LVD SCSI
2) Discs - hot-swap IDE
3) num. of discs - >=8
4) min size - >=500Gb
5) RAID levels - 0-5
6) full backup in power and controller
7) RS-232 console and front panel LCD control
8) num. of LUN >= 8
9) Speed - >= 20mb/sec
10) rackmount
11) SNMP monitoring
I played with Axus Brownie BR-1200U3-R and Infortrend, but it both was rather "buggy" and "stupid" IMHO.
I want this box primary for backup.
