Advice using photoshop filters

Hi, I'm starting to do different kinds of work in photoshop, and i was wondering if anybody knows of any effects/filters or filter bundles that i can download or buy to make gothic/evil type artwork? If anybody has any tips i would greatly appreciate it,Thanks.

Can't think of any specific filters that would fit the bill, but as far as add-on filters, Alien Skin has some good sets.
