Hi folks,
I want to connect two different windows 2003 servers to the same volume on my fibrecat sx-80.
As i have found out the hard way this can cause corruption.
I know there are various software solutions on the market to allow me to do this but does the fujitsu configuration overcome this issue in anyway?
If not can anyone recommend any windows volume sharing solutions?
I want to use DFS to provide file sharing redundancy by having the shares on both the current host and a second dc. Clustering isnt an ideal solution for dc's so i am advised. (also one of the DC's is 2003 standard).
The first DC that currently hosts the shares is very old and we'd like to phase it out by moving critical services.
Ideally i just want to be able to have two win2003 servers access the same volume without corruption issues.
Any advice would be great thanks.
