My PBX is a Meridian 1 option 11c. I have a user who is currently on a 2008, and I need to get him a cordless phone. I do not want to go analog.

I'm considering either a CM-16 or an M7410. Can anyone advise me as to which would be better? Or if there is another model I should consider.

His phone is not part of an ACD group or anything fancy, so if need be I can out it and re-program to 2616 set (the CM-16 says it works as a 2616 emulator but I cannot find anything saying it will work on a 2008 program.)

Any tips are appreciated.

there used to be a cordless 2616 M2616CT
but that is difficult to find now.... long gone.

I asked a similar question a while back, and got much good advice.

The M7410 is for a Norstar it will not work on an Option 11.

The CM-16 works great. Program the phone like a 2616 and plug it in. Just takes a little getting used to to learn how to select the key you want. Great range too. When testing it I established a call then walked about a block away before the call dropped. But of course then I could not get dial tone until I got back close to the base station so it could reestablish its connection.

I've said it before and still believe it - the Aastra CM16 that Phonz mentioned is a great little unit. Great coverage area and call quality. Programs like a 2616 on your switch.
