Advice re installing slave HDD 1

I want to install a 20GB FAT32 slave HDD in a Win2K NTFS box and share files on the slave. Are there any potential problems I should look out for?

If you format the drive as FAT32 you will not be able to apply any file security/restrictions. Doug

Data is already on the FAT32 drive. Can I use Win2K to convert it to NTFS?

Yes you can. If you do not plan on using this hard drive on a Windows 9x system(dual-boot) then I would convert it to NTFS if security is a concern. Doug
