Hi,

We are trying to write a report that creates a catalogue of the courses we run at Nottingham University.

The format in general is like a labels report, repeating multiple times over a page. The only problem using a labels report is that they can't grow and occasionaly the odd one of the 4000 courses does get larger than the specified space.

Is there any good way to write a report like this?

Cheers
Marc

You can make a multi-column report without using the mailing labels expert. This will give you more flexibility. To make a regulare report into multi -columns you create the number of detail bands that you need, and then under "format - section" you can highlight the top details and check "format with multiple columns" to get a layout tab.
