Advice on windows media player 10

Iam using windows XP pro and i have windows media player 10 when i downloaded the free version of real player to play some music i couldnt open the windows media files in my email accounts and instead of windows media player opening it real player is opening it and says files cannot be opened when i remove the real player from my computer the files are automatically opened by windows media playe can somebody advice me what to do regarding this problem

Reinstall real player then go into its preferences and uncheck the file associations that you dont want real player using. Example if you want windows media player opening .wma instead of real player uncheck that association in real players preferences. Do the same for the rest you want windows media player using.

Or re-install Windows Media Player, either way should work
