Advice on using MS SQL Server SSIS with custom HTML AJAX based Program

We're having a customized program developed for our company that will be using HTML pages with embedded AJAX as the framwork of the program. We're at a point in choosing the best database server to integrate this with. I wanted to know what others thought of using MS SQL Server SSIS and that versus MYSQL.

I've never used MySQL before, so I couldn't tell you. However SSIS is much more intuitive that DTS on SQL Server 2000 ever was and much more fun. @=)
