We are a SMB running SBS2008 in the UK.

We do not have nor can justify IP telephony in our offices but we have one user that would love to be able to dial in using mobile/land line to the server and have his emails read and or check calendar.

This is because he has no Broadband/HSDPA/3G in his village.

A. Is this possible

and

B. The most cost effective way

Hope someone can give advice and many thanks

You might want to take a look at Microsoft ResponsePoint.

Without an IP based phone system, I don't believe you can do this. Also, do you even have the CALs for Unified Messaging?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
