advice on SEO Software

I am an amateur with a new website that another designed. Many have offered advice regarding search engine optimization. Some have suggested that there is software for this purpose such as SEO Studio, GRSeo etc. However, I have no idea which to choose - and there are hundreds. I've tried to find websites reviewing them but have failed here too. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
